Stephanie Ongtooguk
A native of Spain, Stephanie grew up in Barcelona, learning to love the Spanish and Catalonian art history and its legacy. Her dad was an avid art collector and took her and her siblings from very young age on to art galleries, museums and events, which jumpstarted her love and appreciation as well as joy that art can bring.
After meeting her American-Inupiat husband John in Barcelona, she moved to the USA ending up in the Pacific Northwest, raising their young family in Camas, WA.
Stephanie works currently as a bilingual family coordinator and Spanish interpreter for Vancouver Public Schools. In that role, she has organized many family events showcasing the artistic talents of the Latino parents and students she works with to share their culture and create community through art.
Stephanie enjoys creating arts and crafts using a variety of mediums, from fused glass to mixed media and other mediums and finds much joy, peace and balance with it. She believes in the healing power and pure joy the creation of art projects can bring to people and hopes to contribute spreading these experiences to all ages and groups through CASS Community Art Studio.
